Gregarius Aggregator ‘Frames’ Theme
I spent a few hours tonight finishing last weekend’s work on my Gregarius ‘Frames’ theme. It works for me in Firefox and is definitely broken in IE(maybe I’ll fix that tomorrow).
Until it is approved for the Gregarius Themes Repository, you can get it here. To install, just unzip into your themes directory.
The Gregarius Wiki is here.
This theme gives the user two scrollable areas, one for the feeds and one for the items. The scroll position of the feeds list is remembered after clicks and refreshes(using a cookie).

Dave has a couple podcasts from the New Orleans area. Listening to them now.

New Aggregator Feature Request – Sort by popularity
I’ve had a bad cold all week. It’s prevented me from catching up on all but the most important(to me) feeds. I would like to sort all of my unread items by how popular they are. Meaning, how many people del.icio.us bookmarked the item or the urls in the item? How many blogs are taking part in this conversation(via technorati). FeedBurner’s FeedFlare is attempting to make this information available in the item itself(via HTML and Javascript), but that info is not in the XML, where it could be used by Aggregators for sorting.
