Is anyone embedding urls in podcasts?

What I mean is: imagine that I’m listening to a podcast on my PC (ok, already a subset of listeners, but hear me out). Every now and then, a series of beeps happens and information about the song that is playing in the podcast or information about the movie being discussed in the podcast opens in a new tab in Firefox and the browser’s focus shifts to that tab.

What we need:
1) Podcasters will, ahead of time, put each of their urls into
1) Podcasters will then, during their whow, run an app that converts characters into a series of beeps.
2) Podcast listeners will install a firefox plugin that listens to the audio channels on the PC or Mac and decodes those beeps back into characters. These characters are then be appended to and the result is opened in a new Firefox tab.
