Response to Scoble’s Fun Challenge
9 interesting things I didn’t see on a Memetracker. These are mostly from the weekend.
- MoPocket, which I don’t normally read, but found while searching for mobile games, linked to a mobile phone game based on the 24 tv series. Between this post and last night’s episode, I decided to download the game and try it last night. It’s a very cool game, actually.
- Allegiance (alltp.com) has a mailing list for people interested in purchasing TabletKiosk UMPCs.
- whatisnew.com has a list of all the new sites that have popped up to track upmc news. And then there is this awesome comparison photo of the Nokia 770 and the Samsung UMPC.
- The first time I looked at the multi-touch stuff, I didn’t notice that there is already a commercial multi-touch product. The JazzMutant from Lemur.
- Build a lightsaber from $33 worth of Home Depot parts.
- TomTom is adding the ability to track your friends’ vehicles.
- Gabe and his wife spent a weekend in World Of Warcraft for their anniversary. Sounds like a blast!!
- To keep up with demand, Ajaxian added a new track to their Ajax Experience conference.
- Alex King has an argument (security) for staying on the latest version of WordPress. I’ve been upgrading regularly with no ill effects.
